Audra Doyle, MS, FNP-C is a board certified family nurse practitioner through the AANP. She has over 30 years of experience in healthcare. She was initially a respiratory therapist where she worked in neonatal and pediatrics. She worked at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital and at Denver Children’s Hospital. She was a flight therapist and had experience working with HFOV, HFJV and ECMO. She then transitioned into nursing in 1997. Her jobs encompassed multiple positions and specialities.She spent time in cardiothoracic surgery as well as NICU/PICU. She worked in outpatient surgery where she was very versatile. She worked in endoscopy, recovery room and as a circulating nurse for all the surgical specialties with clinical coordinating of the ENT procedures. In 2014 she graduated with her nurse practitioner degree in family medicine. Her first position was in a rural health clinic (FQHC) where she managed the care of all ages in the community and in the school system through a clinic established at the county school. Later, she transitioned to an internal medicine practice with HCA where managed her patients with a whole person approach. Lastly, she was an NP based in a rehabilitation/long term care facility where she acted as the facility PCP and managed the transitional care of the rehab patients. Audra likes to work closely with her patients to educate them on how to manage their disease processes and to guide them on wellness goals. She takes the time to listen and truly know her patient’s needs. In her free time she loves being outside with her dogs, hanging out with her sons and her friends.
